​LADIES OF VISION & ESSENCE
Through a collaboration of resources, community-based businesses, government agencies, other non-profit organizations, parents and the community, Mosaic LOVE is dedicated to reaching and changing the community.
At
LADIES WE SERVE:
Mosaic LOVE supports young ladies in the minority population to increase their self-awareness of various behaviors, environments, cultures, and opportunities to apply within their community and themselves. By traveling and being exposed to different environments, the young ladies will gain invaluable life lessons, with the privilege of learning and interacting with facilitators and mentors who have also grown from similar areas and have become positive contributors to society.​
Goals

To increase the awareness of the importance of mentoring for our girls and young women.

To promote academic excellence among the mentees by involving business and community leaders, and organizations to support their goals.

To track the success of young girls as they evolve through Mosaic LOVE's initiatives.

To partner each girl to a mentor and/or group mentoring process

To track the relationship and collaborative efforts between the community partners, business leaders, mentors and the mentees via co-op programs, internships, program referrals and educational, career and personal development.
The VISION
Mosaic LOVE: Ladies of Vision & Essence, provides comprehensive services to children, youth and their families that are asset deficient, residentially challenged, and economically disadvantaged. We provide a transformative mentoring program that assists in developing the lives of youth whose lives, in specific but not exclusively, have been or are currently being affected by displacement, drugs, crime or violence with the prospect that they will conquer poverty to become self-dependant residents of the Washington, DC, PG County area.Through a collaboration of resources, community-based businesses, government agencies, other non-profit organizations, parents and the community, Mosaic LOVE is dedicated to reaching and changing the community.
